Default Question About Subs.

I've had my subs for about a year now and I have to say that I enjoy them. I don't run them so hard that's it's doing any harm or annoying the people around me. But I noticed something about them today. One of them has a lot more movement than the other. They are both on the same frequency and getting that same amount of power. And as far as I can tell they sound the same. Is this just the difference between the two subs or could one of them have a problem? Sub and amp info are in my signature. Now, before you go jumping on me about this not belonging in this section, let me tell you that I have tried the car audio section and I rarely get an answer from those guys.

There might be a problem with one of the subs or the amp, but if they sound good dont wory about it. Try pushing the subs in making sure that they are soft, they get extremly hard when they are blown. I have 3 10" L7'S and they all move a different amount.

Not to umm start an arguement, but every post you have in the a/v section has been answered....or you didnt reply to any of the ?'s. Any way...if you look at 2 subs from the side one will look like its moving farther, but really isnt. If you look at them infront they will both be moving the same. If one isnt moving as much as the other something is wrong then.

Ok, let me rephrase myself. I don't get the speedy replys in the a/v section that I get from this section. Plus there are a bunch of car audio guys in this section.

Sony224422. The subs are in individually sealed boxes. They fit right behind my bench seat after I took out the storage rack things. Most of the people I know with extended cabs just put their box in the back seat, but if you need the room get some of the shallow subs. I've heard you can put them just about anywhere.

interesting. yeah when i bought the truck the subs were sitting on the back seat but i kinda bought the truck for the passanger room in the back too haha. So im gunna probably make my own box to fit under the seat or just buy one off ebay or something.

SIMPLE FIX..Maybe...... You probably have the negative and positive speaker wires backwards on the sub that is not performing as well as the other. Switch the negative to positive andP to N and the sub.. Let me know if that was the problem..
