Fastman TB?
I had a 52mm fastman on my 2000... along with 1.7 rollers, modded kegger, headers, dual out flowmaster and oversized K&N fipk filter... it rocked. started out like a slug, finished up nicely.
I plan to (within the next year or so) get the air filter set-up changed andget the Fastman TB. My goal after that is to get headers, and then I want to have the computer flashed to match up with everything. When I head back east in about 8 months, I will be at a much lower elevation, so it will need to be adjusted anyway. Thanks for giving me hope of less sluggishness!
when I sold my truck, I stripped off all the performance go fast goodies and could not believe how slow it was. it was sad in a way and nearly brought a tear to my eye as I loved the 2nd gen truck I had...
One question: I've always heard that cooler air goinginto yourengine is better. With these trucks not having any air dams in the hoods, wouldn't the round set-up be feeding much hotter air to the engine than the stock setup? Just asking... If it does, in fact, increase fuel mileage, it may be easier to convince the wifey. What about increased cab noise from the round setup?
