Tranny shifting is off
Just normal driving around my truck runs just fine. When I take it up to 3000rpms and it shifts down it kicks extremely hard back down to 2000 then runs alright after that. When I take it up to 5000 it goes to shift down and putter really bad jumping between 4000-5000 then finally kicks down. I don't know what to do. Everything is pretty much brand new on the truck. I just got done getting the tranny rebuilt and have taken it in numerous times and they have nothing to say about it.

TPS = throttle position sensor. It's the sensor on the driver's side of the TB. Held on bytwo #25 torx screws
Take offthe air hat, remove the electrical connection (push down tab and pull out)remove the 2torx screws, slap on anew TPS andreconnect everything. Clean your TB good if it's dirty while you're at it.
I'm not 100% sure that's it though.
It's not unheard of to still have tranny problems even after a rebuild. Especially if the place reusedanything. I've heard of tranny shops reusing a torque converterand after the debris from a tranny meltdown gets in there it's impossible to get it all out. The debris flows out of the torque converter at some point and gets into the rebuilt tranny and blows it out again. If it's under warranty, make them fix it, not you.

I'll have to give it a shot. Hopefully this fixes the problem.
Sounds the same ^^
