ok here it is....i was told at the local dealership that dodge doesnt offer a power mirror for the 2nd generation.......my question is this. can the 3rd generation tow mirrors be retrofitted (or will they fit) to my 2000 dodge 1 ton diesel? i have my welding machine mounted sideways in the truck right behind the back glass and sometimes have to adjust the mirrors as to get into some tight places. THANKS!

 

If you can I would find a different dealership to talkto. I have a 98 2500 with power/heated mirrors.[/align][/align]I have seen somewhere on here that you can retro fit gen 3 fold out mirrors onto the gen 2 trucks with some mods. Do a search and you'll find a lot of info.[/align]

 

Heated and power mirrors on my '01! Best bet, stay out of the dealer altogether.
