Would it be easier to modify a Dana 60 from a 2500 that already has 4.10s in it to fit my truck, or would it be easier to regear my current axels?

 

The 60 should bolt right in but it'll be way more then new gears

 

I'm not sure it's exatly a direct bolt-in either.

 

thanks guys. I'll probablyre-gear axels I have now because I don't seem myself getting tires any bigger than 35-36 inches since I still have to drive this thing everyday, and gas does cost 3.00 a gallon. I hate to be like that, but thems the brakes for now anyway. How much would it cost to have someone else put them in? I probably won't go that route though. Half the fun of any new mod is putting it on and learning something new.
