Default Pacesetter Longtube Headers question..

At some point in the near future I plan to purchase a set of ceramic coated Pacesetter Longtube headers from summitracing, com. I've heard some bad characteristics from these headers though, a lot of guys say the head gaskets and a lot of the components are no good. What are some extra quality parts I should buy with these headers to insure the modification goes smoothly for the long run? Also, I've heard many people on this site mention that Pacesetter offers a 3" performance y-pipe, is this worth the investment? I couldn't imagine leaving the stock y-pipe on there considering the diameter throughout change so frequently. Other than that, is there anything else I should be looking for when buying these? Last thing, guys here who run the Pacestter LT Headers...did you feel the horsepower gain in torque, and in the overall power range? Let me know! This truck with just an exhaust system already tears *** as is, so I am really excited to open this beast up more and give it even more tearing power!!

It is just the gaskets that are no good. Get some Felpro metallics and you'll be fine. The stock Y will not work with the lt's, so you will have to buy thiers or have one fabricated.
