Okay so i got everything off my intake manifold except the fuel rails. And on the fuel rails there is a brass/gold looking connection! How do i get this brass/gold looking connection off?!?! Or do i just remove the fuel rails from the intake manifold.... THNX

You'll need to go to the auto parts store and buy a A/C & Fuel Line Disconnect Tool Set

you'll need the 3/8 in size. its a 2 piece tool that wraps around the line. one side has a protrusion that sticks up inside the fitting and spreads the hidden fingers. then just kind of wiggle/twist it and it will come right off.

you can buy a nice expensive set for about $20, but the cheapy plastic $2-3-4 3/8 is all you need.

 

Or you can just remove the injector rail from the intake and pivot it out of the way.
