Default power window sags

Anybody know why the back side of my passenger side power window sags when I roll it down and up?

It closes and seals just fine, but if I stop it half way the rear side of the window sags downand the widow sits cockeyed.

Sag may be due to loose mounting on the glass channel. Another possibility is the felt is worn inside the channel. Then again, it could be worn/loose where the glass attaches to the lift mechanism.
BTW, what ever became of your crank sensor modification? Can't find any follow-up on it.

Couldn't get my damn Popeye forearms past the tranny and exhaust,or my mutant hands over the top of the headers.

I have the stock headers still and it'll have to wait until those get swapped out. With the headers off it won't be an issue, but I'm afraid if I advance it too much and put new headers on, I won't be able to adjust it back.

Maybe I can bribe one of my school kids totake it out, hehe. Would that violate child labor laws?

Bribe is such an ugly word.
I was thinking of trying this mod. too, but also can't get to it. I don't like doing things by feel.
Car things anyway!
On the window thing; could also be in the regulator. This is a cross-arm type system and the one for the back of the glass may be worn or out of adjustment. I guess the only way to know for sure is pull the panel and pull and prod stuff and get a good looksee.

Found it.

Little plastic roller piece at the bottom of the scissors lift broke and the lifter mechanism came off track. Tried superglue, no luck.
Have to check with the dealership tomorrow on the cost of a replacement. Hopefully it'll just be the scissors arm I'll have to replace.

I know, I know,

But if it cracked due to heat, getting from a junk yard ain't going to be much better. I'll find out what the dealership wants and walk away if it's insane.

How about the parts store in your land. Do they have the "HELP!" aisle?
Might be able to find it there.

Look on E-Bay - they have the regulators pretty inexpensive on there.
