Hi, I am changing the transfer pump on my 97 3500 4x4. The line that runs from the transfer pump (tubing) to the fuel filter is/has become bent and I cannot get it to fit in the transfer pump. I want to cut the tubing (take about 2 inches out) and place a piece of flexible fuel line in so I can get it to fit. I believe that this line is still on the low pressure side of the system, so this should not be an issue???? I've spent several hours trying to get the tubing to fit to no avail (Dodge has not made this an easy place to access!!!!). Can someone please verify this. Thanks
