It sounds like your talking about the plastic pillars that they melt down to hold certain parts together.

If that's the case, just drill them out in the center. Keep in mind you won'twant to make the holes any larger than you have to so you cananchor the new grille on.

Does your new grille completely replace the factory one. If so, that is attached to a metal frame. If you're just talking about the mesh portion, then yeah, the tabs have to be drilled.

ok 3 hours later, ALOT of sweat and swearing later... the new Upper grille is in... ran out of time for the lower.... is it just me or does it look like my new bumper is sitting a little too low, that gap looks too big to me.. anyone else agree? or have i been staring at the front of my truck too long.

It's a little low. Thought maybe it was your new grille, but it's low under the lights too.

The back bumper just has a few bolts you have to loosen to push up or down. Check and see if the front is the same; it's really easy to do. Ibacked into a concrete protector poll I couldn't see at a gas station one night, and the next day I had it fixed with just an open end wrench.

HAHA nice, talked to the body shop today, said it is a lil low they are gonna raise it up so that gap is gone. Eventually ill get up to putting the lowers in, gonna require some cutting and customizing to fit
