I weighed my truck at the track a while back with me in it, and I keep getting dislexic about it. Im not sure if it was 4516 or 4216. I was looking at edmunds.com and they said the stock weight was 4028, which would make the weight of 4216 with me in it accurate. Id just like to have that weight verified. Does anyone know?

dang, im gettin upset. I can not remember for the life of me if i took off my bumper and whatnot when i ran 15.3, or if it was just my tonneau and tailgate. girr. I guess im jsut gonna have to go weigh it again. Aside from the track, anyone in jersey know a place i can get weighed?

Also says something about the R/T option boosting the power to nearly 300, WTF why doesn't mine have that []

4455lbs stock weight of my Indy back in July 96 on the track scales at Cayuga (TMP)
I was not in the truck during weighing, had factory roll pan,K&N 14", 125lb f/g tonneau and stereo was still stock.

A r/c s/b ST(no options)w/3.9 stick would probably weigh 4028lbs

 

My truck has power nothing except for windows and locks so does that mean mine weighs 4028#?

 

Info is not accurate, there were 2802 Indy's built not 6000.
Came with 46re auto, not a 3spd trqflight
Curb weight they list is for a r/c s/b ST not an Indy
TheIndys at the May 96 racehad various track duties. They were numbered 1-150 in 3 locations on the truck.

Bouncer, I would est. your curb wt to be in the 4325-4375lb range roughly.

Im goin to a scale tomorrow to find out what it is now.

 

Find a moving company in your area. They have scales and will weigh you for about $5 any way ya want to do it, i.e. frt. axel; rearaxel, total etc.

Goto a scrap yard and go on the outbound scale. Always worked for me. Take into consideration dry weight anow with all your fluids and fuel.
