Default throttle body sensor

check spects, were is it on the throttle body, side? back? front?

how much to replace?

The one all the way on the back is the IAC , I think the one you're looking for is on the side.

IAC? Whats that stand for? and how much do you think it would be for a throttle body position sensor?

IAC=Idle air control valve.

Throttle position sensor, no idea check www.partsamerica.com

You'll need a #25 torx driver or socket to change either. While your at it, pull the IAC off the back and clean the carbon off the plunger and out of the throttle body.

Why are you changing these sensors? My rig was surging at high speed when I changed my TPS, Auto Zone had it on the shelf for $40.

You've got a 2001 Ram.
Did you download the FSM?
If so, you might research some of the terms, etc. there.
Throttle Body Position Sensor = RULER! LOL[sm=icon_rofl.gif]

The Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) sensor is on the front of the throttle body.

The Idle Air Control (IAC) sensor is on the back of the throttle body.

The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is on the side of the throttle body, opposite the throttle linkage.
