alright this is retarded guys... my oil gauge.. once my truck gets hot the gauge jumps all around.. when the truck shifts the oil gauge goes down to about 20.. then just crusin it goes 40 down to 20 up to like 50 down to 0... its really weird... what u guys think it is..??

Have you checked your oil lately? Are you using too thin an oil?

Mine goes up when I step on it and down when I'm cruising or stopped but it isn't abrupt. It's going to move a little.

Also possible the sensor is going out, or the oil pump itself is going bad.

i just change the oil.... im using 10w 40.. my dad said the pvc valve or something was all clogged.. which doesnt make since to me because my dad doesnt know nothing about dodges...

PCV valve. pvc is plastic, but we get the point. It's on the passenger side of the engine in a 94 stuck in the valve cover in the back. A hose runs from it to the intake manifold. about a 3.99 fix at the auto parts store. Just be careful pulling the old one out becasue the old plastic tends tobecome brittle and break up.

my guage does the same thing, even though i know my oil is fine, i think its the oil pressure sending unit.. its on the rear behind the TB
