So I finished up getting groceries and went out to my truck, and what do i find, apparently my 1995Ram 1500 SRT was rear-ended by an even larger truck that drove away... so heres what i was wondering, Based on the pictures below is there any thing i can do to fix it or would i be better off taking it to the shop(and if so what would the estimate be?)? the tailgate only goes down halfway, but other than that there seems to be no mechanical problems.

from what i see it looks like you need just a new bumper, i have heared that its just a few bolts, anyone can do it

 

did this store have a outside camera ? tell em what happen and maybe they can help....6 boltshold the bumper on to the frame , soak em good..

 

no the manager said they onlyhad those fake security cameras that follow movement but dont record a thing.Thanks for your guy's help

 

they must have hit you hard to push that bumper in... did they push the bumper into the bed of the truck from the second pic looks like they did a bit..... make pb blaster your best friend and soak them bolts.... or spend the extra bucks and buy a buckstop bumper and never have to worry about it again... whoever hits you a second time with one of those will do some hurting to themselves
