4X4 scared of water?

Default 4X4 scared of water?
Hello, I own a 98 ram 1500 4x4 and when i run thru water it sputters for a a few minutes.
Can anyone help to give a solution ( Besides avoiding water puddles ) ?

You have to be sucking in water somewhere I am assuming, where ? I don't know but that is my guess.

It seems electrical to me.
You could be getting water on your distributor which would cause that I believe (don't quote me on that).

If you think it is electrical, then you should have a general idea of where the problem is.
