98 Dash into a 97?

Wondering if anyone has installed a 98-up complete dash into a 94-97 since my dash is almost gone and don't want to pay $350 for new pad when the rest of it is falling apart too.

That would probably be a huge project!
I might require you to also completely rewire the whole truck or swap over all the harnesses from the 98. I wouldn't do it.
