front axle question **UPDATE WITH PICS**

RE: front axle question
i've used both orange and black with no leaks. never tried blue but i don't see why it wouldn't work. just be sure and clean the cover with brake cleaner, surround the bolt holes and don't over torque them.
edit.. the milky white is water from leaking seals. been driving through creeks huh . i've you don't feel like changing the seals (like me), just change the oil regularly.

RE: front axle question
leaking oil out of the seals
and that is some nasty fluid from alot of water
its up to you
if they arent leaking fluid out of them, just change your fluid when you start to see it turning nasty or after you do alot of sunken axle wheelin
they are a little bit of work to replace.
you have to drain fluid, remove calipers, rotors, hub+axle shaft assy., remove carrier(including shims, etc), remove old seals, and get an installer to press in new seals by both sides of carrier
then put it all back together
i dont know if autozone has them available for rent... no idea, i use the ones at work

RE: front axle question
it does not require the use of a shop type press.
