I have a 96 ram1500 with a 3.9L. it fires up fine, and runs good until it warms up. Then it starts spitting and sputtering, backfiring, and bucking. Sometimes it stalls coming to a stop sometimes it doesnt. I changed the stator but that didnt do anything. the scaner calls for a camshaft position sensor but it doesnt have one. thanks for any help i can get.
ill try the o2 snesor, and no its not in the dis. it has a ing module/stator. the truck just got a tune up a few months ago. the problem is intermitten, when it acts up its only for a few minutes then it runs good for the most part. only a buck here and there.
it just started about a week ago. now when it warms up it actes up and dies. it wont fire. after it cools off it fires right up, again till it gets warm
