Default HELP!

Hi. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram sport and just moved a set of HIDs from my dodge stratus into the truck. The kit works in the stratus, still worked when i plugged it into the stratus while installed in the truck...but the kit will not turn on with the truck? Is there a quick fix...someone told me i wasnt getting a good ground..could that be? In that case which of the wires in the factoryharnessis the ground ?

Thank you for any help!

im having the same problem in my 2005 its not the lights or the ground the truck isnt sending a steady signal due to the fact that there is no filament in the hid lights so it doesnt recognize them and thinks the lamp is out im not sure how to get around this problem or if this feature of the truck can just be disabled if you know or find anything out please let me know

Default RE: HELP!

Maybe you need some resistor loads so there is enough draw for the lighting system to think there are incandescent bulbs?

Just guessing...

You can get them online, or if you can figure out the ohm load you can buy power resistors of the same value and try them.
