hey all, i'm looking into a dodge 2500 deezel. i want that diesel power and bad-a**ness if you ask me. what are the pro's/con's? what should i look for? thanks a lot guys, or is this a cummins page thing? i'd figure i'd ask here since these are my 2nd gen buds and may have thought bout the same thing.

I've heard that if you don't drive much or for long distancesthen a cummins might not be what you want. I've heard they don't do well sitting around not being driven. I believe the some of the parts for fixing a diesel can be pricey as well. Never owned one personally, so it's just what I've heard.

On the up side, they have a crap load of power, get better mileage, and you can put upwards of 300K miles on them pretty easily.

Dodge CTD

i like the CTD, no cons really about it in my opinion
nothing worse really that our plenums and pinging and whatnot
they are known to have little problems here and there.

lotsa more power + torque
