Default Help me ID Transfer case guts

98, 1500, 5.9L, AT, 4x4, NP231D transfer case. TC clunks occassionally but worked in 4wd. I read alot old posts and decided to DIY it. Pulled off the case and parts in the pic are what I found loose in the case. Please id them for me. This is a buy/sell truck and I only want to replace the minimum for it to work again. I pushed my finger against the chain. it is sloppy i can get it to touch the inside of the case. I cant get the chain and gears out yet cuz I cant get the nut off the front of the TC where the front driveshaft is. Have had 150lbs with a air gun on it for 30min. Does only know of a website or company to get these replacement parts without charging an arm and a leg? Thanks.

I'm not sure about the plastic parts but the snap ring and the other 2 square blocks are part of the synchronizer assy. The synchronizer is required to allow you to shift into 4wd. It speeds up the front drive shaft gear to match the speed or the rear andallows you to shift without grinding. You'll have to disassemble the main shaft and look for other damage.
