Default Thank god its over!

Last night I traded my Dodge in on a GMC! As long as I live, I will never own another Dodge. I had a 99 with 73K miles on it and it had the following problems.

1. Cracked dash
2. A/C kept leaking, every time I got it fixed, it would leak in a new spot
3. Brakes sucked...$500 later, they were okay at best
4. 9 mpg with 285 tires
5. Early mornings, put it in reverse and nothing would happen for about 30 seconds
6. Clear coat on hood and roof were fading

Glad that POS is gone!!!

Yeah, its too bad I had such a terrible experience. I do want to say Thank You to Silver_Dodge for all of your help over the past few weeks.

I bought a FastMan throttle body to help with the fuel efficiency problem but it hasn't shipped yet so I just emailed Dan and canceled the order. The Dodge was a good looking truck and such a haas but I am glad to see it go.

I was tailgating with a buddy before the Bama-Uga game a week ago and brought up all the trouble I have had with my Dodge and he made a good point. Somewhere, there is a guy who has had the same trouble with a Ford, or a GMC or a Mercedes. These things just happen sometimes. When you make millions of cars, there are gonna be lemons.

So when I get angry at Daimler-Chysler, I just try and remember that.

Even so, they could have better customer service.

I have a 2000 Ram 1500 that nobody can fix. It was at the dealer for three and a half weeks. I now drive a Ford and the Dodge is beached in my driveway.

Yep. People gave me hell when I bought my 2002 plain-Jane Chevrolet Cavalier brand new, saying Cavaliers were turds. That old gal has 143K on the clock and the only thing beyond routine maintenance was a faulty TPS.

muledude have you idk tried posting on here whats wrong with your truck?.... take it to a garage thats NOT a stealership.... tell ya what if its just sitting there ill be glad to take it off your hands.... and no matter what vehicle you buyit will end up having problems.... no car is perfect, stuff breaks get over it... when you get old you break too so dont take it out on any one car company for old stuff breaking.... just remember when you fall and break your hip to blame it on the stairs....
