Default Fastman throttle body

I've seen that a lot of you 2nd generation dodge owners have a "fastman throttle body"on your trucks. My question is, what does it actually do? Is it worth installing it? Do you get noticeable gains in power, or perhaps fuel economy? Is it expensive? Thanks in advance for the answers!

Dan takes a stock tb and modifies it to flow better and last longer. It is a quality piece - and worth the money. It was $225 if you mentioned this site when I got mine (couple years ago) - don't know if its still the same. Call or e-mail him - he's a really cool guy and very knowledgeable. One of the best mods you can do to your truck, and when combined with exhaust and air intake mods and a programmer or reflash of the pcm can really make a difference in performance......

Dumb question, but, do you send your existing throttle body, or does he send you the whole assembly?

he charges you a core, 80 dollars. After you install your new tb you send back your old one and you get your 80 dollars back

Yap, one of the easiest mods to install. Dan supplies you with very easy instructions for this project as well as new gasket and a s-bolt for aftermarket round air filters. It took me about an hour to install but thats because I took my time and cleaned everything. If I had to do it again it prolly would take about 20 minutes.

Great mod and well worth it.
