I have a 1998 Ram 1500 and a little while ago the check engine light came on, so I went and had it plugged in and it came up as the O2 sensors and the speed sensor. I changed both O2 sensors and it the light came back on with the speed sensor. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows something to do to fix it or how to fix it becuase I have never delt with a spped sensor. The truck has 35' tires on it, I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not but we can't even clear the code anymore. Thank You.

 

there are 2 speed sensors. one in transmission (2wd) or t-case (4wd), and one in the top of the differential. neither is overly expensive, i think about $25-30. i don't know how to guess which one its talking about.
