Sorry, the radiator hoses. You'll have them both disconnected from the radiator, you just need to disconnect them from the engine black and hook the new ones up while you have coolant out of the system and need to replace that anyways.

advance auto parts has that tool i think you gotta buy the kit cant buy just one. and the rad i have on my 96 came from advance auto to so there a good rads..

OK thanks guys! I really appreciate all the quick feedback! I'm feeling a lot better about this thing. I'm leaving work in a couple of hours to go pick everything up and I'll let you know how things turned out tomorrow when I finish.

Summit has some real nice Aluminum ones in the $150 range.

Socha you must be talking about one for the V8, the 2 on Summit I saw for the V10 were $339 and $400+. This is the only bad thing about having the V10... parts are bigger and they cost more... and I can't find an aluminum one for the V10 either.

the special tool they are talking about is called a fuel line disconnect (can also be called something else. Fords use them on there fuel lines and also on there transmission lines as well as dodge.

it is called a Quick disconnect tool. Also you dont have to remove the fan, just unbolt the fan shroud, move it twoadrs the engine and you can remove the radiator by pulling up after all the hoses are off and you have removed the upper two bolts from the crossmember.

Well guys, I did it! The radiator's replaced, all fluid levels are as they should be, and she's running great again. Thanks to everyone who posted tips/their advice for me on here! If you guys hadn't posted I would've been taking the fan off and wouldn't know I needed the quick diconnect tools. So thanks again guys, your advice was dead on.

*On a related topic, if any of you guys know who invented the "couplings" that I had to deal with to remove the auto tranny cooler lines I would appreciate it if you would let me know his name and address cause I wanna spend my next vacation tracking him down so I can kick his ***. [:'(] If it weren't for those damn coupling connectors I would've finished in 1/4 the time it took me.
