Recently my 318 went all bad so i really cant find any new 318's around but i thought of switching to a 360? just wanted to know what all i have to do to make this work. Like do i need to change the computer and will the tranny hold up? Just all the good stuff i need to know. Thnx guys!

when the engine went bad in my 360 they wanted to put a 318 in it (thank god they didnt) the guy at the shop said it wouldnt take because the tranny wasnt compatable. I dunno about the computer, i think maybe thats only if u do a diesel conversion. Im not sure if the 318 to 360 is the same, but i would bet it wouldnt be compatable with the tranny. someone correct me if im wrong here.

 

it doesnt take that much.. im pretty sure the trans will work. for it to run right ur def gunna need a new computer.
