so my truck caught on fire.....
i pulled into the parking lot at my work on friday, and as i walked away from the truck, i noticed the smell of burning cloth. i saw some smoke coming from under the hood. i run back, open the hood, and the passenger side of the engine compartment is on fire! good thing i had my fire extinguisher in the truck. it wasn't anything too major. a shirt (or something cotton) got sucked up into the engine bay, right on the headers. i have some pics of the aftermath. just some burnt spark plug wires, ignition coil wire, and tubing. some shrouds melted a little too.

yeah! that would have pissed a lot of people off. haha. the only thing i can think of is a piece of cloth somehow got stuck up there. i take the 15N freeway to work, and there is a lot of construction up there now.
that's what i thought at first too. haha. but it was deffinitley something cotton. i use the blue paper shop towels though.

My dad's 98 had an electrical fire inside, total loss, the entire interior was completely gone, there were M-1 rounds in the back seat that were going off, gas in the back that blew up, it was not pretty.
