Ahem, well, after reading this post I looked at the sellers feedback and several of his customers were very happy with their new chip, so I promptly bought one. At 39.95, it won't bethe biggest mistake I ever made, if that's what it turns out to be. I'llhave it installed within the nextcouple of weeks and will report back.

I find it funny that in the fine print down near the bottom above the "Improve your gas mileage" text, he talks about modifying the MAF sensor and IAT sensor signals. Our trucks do not have a MAF sensor.

More power doesn't usually mean better fuel mileage, unless more power is gained through a better running, more efficientengine. OEM calibrations these days are not primarily made in the interest of performance or efficiency except within emissions constraints.I also noticed the "MAF" terminology. We'llsee.

All this does is trick your computer into thinking that you are running colder that what you are, increasing your fuel mixture.
