Default Cat or no Cat?

So I know that when theres not enough back pressure you lose torque. But I hear about alot of people who either gut the car or completely remove it. Do those people just sacrifice the power loss for the louder exhaust or does removing the cat help in power ( relieving enough pressure but leaving enough to still have power ) ? I want a louder exhaust butI dont want to lose a noticeable amount of power. I currently have a Cat to a 3" pipe to a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler with turndows. So if I were to lose the cat what would my results be?

If you have a muffler with no cat I don't think you will lose any noticable power, on the other hand why bother? You can make your truck sound just as good with a cat than without.

Just leave the cat and get a flowmaster 10 if you want louder.I'm not a tree hugger or anything, butno catis really bad for the environment.
