Default MUD = SLUGGISH

well its been 4 months dince i went wheelin..well my buddy called today and i was like sure since we got some rain...well everything went good...but i got stuck pretty good in a hole..the whole truck was covered...well i get pulled out we leave and i notice the truck is acting real weird...the check engine light comes on..so im just thinking ok probaly just gotta fix itself..so i yank the Neg.. battery terminal off... let it sit for about 20 mnutes than threw it back on..well no help.. the truck is real sluggish. Like if i floor it the it will probaly only go to about 3000 RPMS.. and its a bit sluggish when moving from a complete stop....any ideas? i am checking the code tomorrow at work so ill let you guys know what the code was..thanks

If you got stuck in deep mud I would check to see if your exhaust is plugged up, it would make your truck run like *** just like if your cat was plugged up.

Could have sucked alot of mudd and water in to ur engine if u have a open air filter.

Also, if u where deep enough water could ahve gotten in the oil etc.

hmm.. gettin stuck like that could mean water is somewhere it shouldnt be change your oil and fluids and your gonna hafta drive like an a hole and clear a lot of it out higher rpms will help that

What? If he sucked mud and/or water in you'd know it....it'd probably be close to shot.

You probably have water in the dist or in the plug wires so its getting a really crappy spark. Get that code read for sure.

When I installed my fastman, I didn't properly route one of the able around the chrottle control. I had the same problem, ran like *** and didn't go over a few thousand RPM's. Change your cable popped off?

well instantly driving it this morning i could tell it was missing..sure enough it was...P0300 and P0305..so i am guessing water got in the plugs..or the Dis Cap..but just out of curiosity how much water are we lokking at? and can i just blow it out with a blow gun or is there a special way to do it??

take your distributer cap off and spray some wd40 in it....see if that helps out some...you should always carry some wd40 if your going wheeling..it's a life saver
