Default Loose front end

I have a '99 Dodge Ram 1500, 2wd, club cab, 174k. The problem is that the front end seems to be getting looser and the trucks bounces a lot even on little potholes. I replaced all 4 shocks with new KYB's, and it doesn't sag. The truck also has new tires, and is in great shape otherwise. I took it to my mechanic who said that he "didn't see anything wrong." The problem seems to be getting worse and I need to figure out something to do asap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

well it sounds like the tie rod ends steering box or even a warn sway bar could give u that play by letting the front axle shift side to side could be an idler arm or ball joints too u really gotta get under it and start checking all these components

take it to a front end shop and have them look at it. could be track bar, tie rods, ball joints or all 3. track bar is most common.

2wd drive did you say? Start by adjusting the steering box, there's a DIY at the top of the forum. That's the cheapest fix. It' it still has play you've got another problem.
