did you reset your fuel sync? if not, check it and make sure it's at least within spec. I havent ever messed with it personally but I've read that you can go to +5 on it and still be ok.

BTW Indy, What chain did you end up going with?
I went with the comp cams chain that has 3 keyways, it allows for 4* adv, ret. or set at 0. Double Roller

you need a drb scan tool to do it. meaning take it to a local shop and have them look at it, if it needs to be set, set it at +2 (half way between the stock & the max) unless someone who has more experience with it can chime in on this one has a prefered setting.

The cel went away by itself today... so idk. Ill see if it comes on again. Possibly it just relearned the ignition timing. Track tues, so ill find out for sure if there is a solid gain or not. I input my specs in my computer dyno for what i have now, and it said i should run a 15.03@90 (which i ran a 15.05@89.9, so its pritty accurate) and all i did was to change the timing on the cam to -4 and it said i should run 14.88 @ 90.5

What? Advancing the timing gains some power, not retarding it...

valve timing, not ignition.

Ok, so the CEL comes on any time I go WOT. Same thing over and over. I guess ill stop up at the dealer tomorrow and have them reset the fuel sync. Any idea on how much that would cost?

NO... NO... NO... well, ok if you want to pay thru the *** to get something this simple done.
