New shocks installed
I replaced my Rancho RS9000X shocks with four new Rancho RS9000XL's. They are nitrogen gas charged, and feature a huge 2.75" body diameter, and an 18mm diameter piston rod - beefy. They are 9 position adjustable like my old ones were, but I set the front to 3, and the rear to 5, and will try that out for a bit. They feel pretty dang good though.
And for those of you with silver trucks and/or the off-road wheels, these shocks are a perfect match. They have what Rancho calls liquid metallic finish, and it looks like it was factory matched with my wheels. They go well with the silver and red lettering on my Skyjacker arms too. Anyway, here's a pic. It was dark when I finished up the rear ones, so i'll get some pics of those sometime this weekend. Here's the front though.

RE: New shocks installed
It was about 2 years and 3months ago (50k miles or so). They probably have some life left in them, though they are a little rusty in a few spots. Not bad to the point that the shock is compromised, just visually noticable though. Honestly, I got a very good deal on these shocks, and figured since it had been over 2 years, it was probably a good time to get them while the getting was good.

How much would you be willing to part with your old ones if you still have 'em? I have some eldebrocks that need to be replaced soon.
