Default 16x8 rim back spacing

I've got a 2000 Ram Sport 1500 on a Rough Country 3" lift kit.
I'm looking at putting on 35"x12.5" tires.

I'm wondering if anyone here can suggest the right backspacing I will need. I'm thinking a 4.25" or 4.5" back spacing should work. (16"x8" rim)

Any advice is appreciated!

The manufacturer of the lift kit says it will work with 33"s. (or it is recomended for)
This kit is also meant for the regular rams, not for the SPORTs which are slightly higher.
After the install of the kit, I pulled up next to a 2500 which had 35"s on it. Parked fender to fender. My fender was less the 1" lower then his, and I am still on the OEM size tires (~31.6"). This leads me to believe that I should be able to fit 35"s (actually, the size I'm looking at is ~34.6").
The rims size that I need, I know is a 16x8". Yes, I could use a 16x10", but it's not needed. I've looked up the tire manufacturer's requirements for the tires I want.

I'm concerned about the backspacing of the rim. This is what will affect where the tire/wheel sits and if it will rub on the fender or the swaybar/control arm.
