Default Fastman TB

Just purchased my first Dodge, got my hands on a 2001 quad cab w/ offroad package.I've heard alot of good things about Fastman so I'm considering getting a TB. I've got the 360 and am wondering how much I will loose on the low end with the 52mm TB. I like the way it pulls itself around at low rpm, so if anyone has an answer or could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Your not gonna loose any at all. If that you will see very awesome gains. I put a 50mm TB on my 318 and it was like woah were did the power come from? Get one as fast as u can. You wont be dissapointed!!!

Well i guess it probably depends on the truck but i saw maybe 1-2 mpg more after installing. But at first im sure youll lose some cuz you wont be able to keep your foot out of it for the first week!

I think if you mention the fact that you heard about it on this site, he gives you a little discount. MPG's go down. You're sucking more gas...no improvement on mpg's for mine. I have 5.9 w/the 52mm TB. Most excellent pickup, keep the o/d off and you'll really notice it. I never use my o/d unless on the highway. Gas is chump change.

I havent noticed any decrease in mileage since I installed my 52mm but maybe thats because it's on a 318 ci. The Fastman is an excellent bang for your buck deal. I dont think anyone has had a negative comment about the throttlebody.

git-r-done !!!

For the 318, I believe Dan recommends the 50mm. I did that on mine, and when I push the funny pedal down, my truck MOVES. I average about 15.8MPG when not hauling. On a very long highway trip, I'll get 16.3MPG.
