I wish These trucks were as cheap to lift as my Cj-7 was!! Im still saving cash for tires, a lift and gears.. with my Cj it was simple to get 10" of lift, 4" Rough Country springs w/shocks and a drop pitman arm.. perch the springs over the axles, and viola! no sway bar made it kind of scary on the highway though, but that added to the fun!

I'm glad you posted as I plan to build my truck almost identically to what you've done with yours. Only thing I'm not sure about is if I'm going with the 5" or 7" skyjacker suspension yet for an overall 8 or 10 inches... I was planning on going 8" and running 36s... but I'd hate to buy it and then find out I want to go higher [:@]

The RK long arms are designed to run at 6-8" of lift so the 5" coils won't work on them. Thats really the only reason I went with the 7" coils because at the time, 8" of lift (5" susp/3" body) would have been sufficient to run 37's which was my original plan.
I altered the plan a bit whenI got the heavy winch bumper, long arms and guessed wrong on the axle ratio I chose (5.13's) which wound up being way too low for the 37's...lol So now I have the 38.5's which helped level out my gear ratio and fill the fenderwells with the 10" of lift I wound up with.
It's never really done though............................................ ....

Since I drive a 2wd, I guess I'm not going to be gay enough to lift it. When I win the lotto I'll show you guys my Cummins sitting on Rockwells and 44s[sm=wootwoot.gif]
You guys got some BAD *** rigs though, I kick myself every time I see 'em [sm=americanasmiley.gif]

SliverRam_01, if you have a need for a lift on a 2wd truck then it aint Gay!! I have no need for a 4wd truck even though we have a 1000 acres in S Tx. I wasn't worried about getting stuck, I was worried about high centering in some of the bad spots on the 12 mile dirt road to get to our place. I have a 3" spindle lift which allowed me to keep everything stock except the rims. This truck rides great, and tows even better now that it's a little higher up. Jeff.
PS-the black 4 wheeler on the trailer is for sale if anyone in the San Antonio area is interested.
