I'm running them with stock cam, and stock rods and springs. Very good performance increase in my opinion. It was worth the money. I may upgrade to hardened rods in the future, but they really are not a requirement unless you like to race. For a daily driver, stock rods are fine.

A cam is probably a little better performance mode overall, but to truely get the most from a cam, you should have heads that work with your cam specs. This is a nice simple bolt on mod that yeilds nice gains. If you want a cam, you can always do that later and remove the 1.7's rockers, but in the mean time, it is a good mod in my opinion.

All,
Who is running 1.7's? Do you have the stock cam or an after market? How was your performance afterwards?
I am trying to get an idea if the modification is worth the 300 dollars for them and hardened pushrods.
