I was trying to take the throttle cable off the throttlle lever... I thought it was a round ball that just snapped on, but its a slide-on attachement. Anyway its broken. I'll get a new one, but how do I put it back on. Do I thread it through the attachment, then somehow clamp the cable so it wont slide out? How is it really done?

 

I did the same thing. Once I slipped the remaining part off, I used super glue to glue it back together. It just slides right onto the throttle body. Bought a replacement, but naturally, since I have a replacement, I know the glued portion will hold forever. The minute I get rid of the new TV cable, the glued portion will break.

 

lol. Do they have the single attachment, or do I need to buy a new cable kit?

 

I don't know how you could get the attachment. I got the whole cable for $75 [] That's before I found http://www.rockauto.com
