Default Bank 1 sensor 1

Bank 1 Sensor 1 where is this sensor located? How hard is it to change? I just bought this truck and already the check engine light comes on. I believe the previous owner knew this and knowingly sold me thetruck without telling me. Any help would be appriceated.
Thanks

That's the upstream O2 sensor.
It screws into the front of your catalytic converter.
I'm assuming you don't have California emissions

I ran Seafoam w/8 gallons of gas. Light went away in about 2 days. Then again, I have to do this about every monh or so. Doesn't hurt if your looking to try a quick cheap fix. Someday I will remove sensor and give it a good cleaning.

welcome to DF...

You could try cleaning all the o2's... use CRC Electronic components cleaner and spray it into the exhaust openings on the tips of the o2's. works good if the o2's are not too far gone.
