Default no radio reception

I was driving along today and the radio kept cutting in an out. It would cut out and I would turn it off and back on then it would work for a little while then cut out again. I did this a few times and now its just static. Any suggestions?

Check your antenna connection at both ends. Tried another station? lol just kidding You did try it i hope.
If everything looks kosher then you may have lost the receive circuit in your radio.

Yeah switched it to the local station and nothing so I guess I'll check the wire and go from there.

If you happen tohave an antenna laying around you could try that to eliminate yours. In urban areas most radios will pick up without an antenna though.
