Default Need some guidance

I need some assistance. My check engine light came on so I had is scanned. The two codes were p0441- evap small leak no flow condition, and p1757- governor pressure above 3 psi at 0 mph. My tranny has also been acting funny. When first driving, first gear feels like it is dragging or sticking, then once truck warms up, truck goes up to 2900 or 3000 rpm then seems to shoft kinda hard when going from 2nd to 3rd. The funny thing is that it is intermitten. There are times when it acts up like I described, then there are other times when there are no problems at all. Anyone have any ideas?

I have read in the diesel forum that our trannys start acting crazy if the chassis or battery grounds get loose/corroded. check there first.

welcome to DF... sounds like a bad gas cap for the evap leak, and the gov pressure sensor is a common failure on the DC trannies. swap the cap and see about getting the sensor swapped as well. I believe you need to drop the VB to get to it but dont quote me on that.
