Default Tune up q's?

I want to change my O2 sensors, and the usual cap, rotors, and might change the plugs back out depending on this 3923 search, but my main quesion is, how many O2 sensors are there? And if anyone has had any particular luck with a certain brand on the 360 block, i'm all ears ... well eyes.

depends on your truck. 2000's & up will have 4, 1999's & older will have 2. the 2000's & up, have 3 cats. you can try cleaning the o2's if they are not that old. about avery 15~20k in my experience seems to keep performance at it's best. CRC electronic components cleaner

I wish I had a truck guy to show me this stuff, haha. Well I have no idea when this stuff was changed, the truck runs fine so I'm not in any hurry, but I will be doing Tune up, minor mechanical exchanges, Oil change, ATF change, new exhuast consisting of headers, thrush muffler, cat.

Where are the two (1996 Ram) sensors located?

5.9L 360 ... looking back it looks like two are located on each exhaust pipe.

I was under there earlier, but to be honest I'm accustom to a 1975 straight 6 block, so O2 sensors are alien territory to me right now.

I am doing my exhaust from cat forward after the end of the summer. I have a 2001 and I was un-aware that I had four aparently.... I noticed that your in CA, and wondered if that was the reason why you may have four out there.

PC...do you have 1 or 3 cats on your 2001? it could be a CA thing. My 2000 Dak has 3 on it also.
