Default Results from cam retard

As some of you know, I recently installed a new timing chain that had the optional keyway for 4* retard, which is how I installed it. The track times were Identical, although I did have a worse run (traction/shifting wise) on the second of the identical runs, second being after the install; so I feel there is a gain in that respect. Today I was able to check out the mpg improvements. Instead of the normal 80 miles I get from 3/4s to 1/2, today I hit 92 miles. That turns12.8mpg to 14.72 mpg. I know a few of you were wondering about that. Ill get exact MPT estimates later, but as of now thats what it is. I dont know the reasoning behind that, my driving style hasnt changed any, but thats the facts as they are.

I didn't expect too much from that one.

How about the scoop? I'll bet that setup cut your times down a little

well, the scoop, traction shackles, and accessory bypass belt took me from 15.303 @ 88 to 15.03 @ 89.9
