Default Exhaust leak leads to misfire?

well for the past couple of days i noticed i had a exhaust leak.. well turns out the bolts that held the clamp for the headers/y-pipe losened u on me..but for the 2 days i drove it like that..i noticed on the second day i was feeling a miss...and when i picked it up tonight i can really feel it..so any ideas why this would happen? and the check enginelight is on but i didnt check it yet...but i am mostly sure its one of the p300 codes..

If the leak is ahead of the O2 sensor, the sensor isn't reading the full exhaust stream and is adjusting to what it thinks is reality. So it's messing with your fuel trim and giving you bad ju ju.
