Body lift
Hey everyone, I have read as many posts as I can handle to try and figure it out on my own, but can't find the answers.
2001 ram 1500 4wd sport stock chrome rims w/stock tire size 265/75/16
Goal- 35" BFG's all terrains maybe mud terrains
I wanna know if I put a P.A. 3" body lift kit in can I put a front leveling kit in without changing anything else???
Instead of the leveling kit should I just replace coils with taller ones???
With the 2" spring/spacer and the 3" bodylift will these tires fit?
I plan on using aftermarketrims that are same size as stock. I leave the wide tires to my quad and Harley
I've done two lift kits in the past year so no problems 1)99 dakota 2)2000 s-10 blazer
I hope I gave enough info, Thanks for the help

RE: Body lift
Every manufacturers 5" kit that I have seen is rated to run 35" tires, so yes, 5" will clear 35's quite nicely even off road.
You will want to run a different wheel to avoid rubbing on your control arms with the wider 12.50 tire. You should look for a 4" backspacing wheel which would be a very common 16" x 8" wheel.

RE: Body lift
that's on offroad rams. They come with larger springs from the factory, plus some other things....as for the coils vs the spacers..depends on how much you want to spend. Spacers are very cheap and work well, and you won't lose your ride quailty. But if your coils are sagging or such then you should get new coils, but i think you'll be fine with just a spacer up front.
