Yeah I wouldn't suggest it, plus dude, the pics don't really help us make a decision, the fact is it's a 1500 not meant for towing that much.

I posted the pix to show the structure of the truck, which I do think is helpful... It looks like it has the structural integrity of a 2500. So I always thought it could probably take on some good weight, but I hadn't really thought about other things such as the transmission, and suspension components.

ahhh not quite.... the 2500's are stronger and designed to tow. Your 1500's supension and tranny aint designed to pull somethin that big. They are designed to mud and do burnouts

LOL yes I definately know it is not as strong as a 2500, but it LOOKS as strong as a 2500 and a 3500. I would even say that this truck is stronger than some of the 2500s out there though. The engine is massive for a quarter ton, and the frame is huge. When it's next to most trucks, it drawrfs even the 3500's. I completely understand though that it's just a matter of appearance. A 2500 or a 3500 would pull me around the yard ALL DAY.

And you are right, burning out and offroading is fun haha

Seriously, why the hell do they make fords and chevys so low to the ground. Like neon said, his 1500 stands higher than his brothers F-350. That's ****ing rediculous. Lift costs enough as it is, without having to add 4 more inches to it because the designers drive to work in mitsubishi eclipses.

20DodgeNeon00 The pics might not help the choice to tow or not to tow but damn your paint still looks good! My 97 after a few years in Hawaii and the rest of its life in the south is just trashed on the roof and hood. Nothing looks as good as black when its clean, but better have a garage cause boy it can't take the sun. Your shiny black brings me back a while to the good old days. Sorry to get off topic I mean don't tow that excavator. Anyone else ever try something dumb with too much tongue weight and you get all bottomed out in the rear and light in the front (no bad jokes family site here) Not a whole lot of fun.

Look man, your truck is nice and so isn't your brothers truck. No need to showcase it anymore, the looks had nothing to do with the question I think it was just a way for you to once again showcase your ride, if you want to do that make a gallery or a car domain, the 5 threads per day about your truck can all be put into one thread, without talk of your brothers f-350 that you wish would mate with your Ram , no need to talk about the jizz on the carpet that you put there because you were pleasuring yourself to your truck that you see every day.

I don't want to be an *** but it gets old when I want to help you out and come into the thread to yet again read how your truck is lifted and has massive tire spinning power.
