Whatever you decide to do, it's going to look great. 35" tires on a reg. cab short bed is going to look fricken tall. The 4.10's with the 35's are very nice, but if you have the money to do so, I would definately go with the 4.56's as well. Had my truck not come with 4.10's, it would definately be something I would have done, but it'd be stupid to spend $1500 on a minimal swap out in gears. Can't wait to see thing lifted though, it's going to look so awesome!
That's the thing. I can swap the axels myself. Not sure about regearing...never done that before seems complicated. Instead of paying all that money to have someone install them, I could get bigger beefier axels, with 4.10s already in them and rear wheel disc brakes. Then when I feel confident enough to replace my own gears perhaps I'll do that.
im going with 4:56 posi rear and front , im letting my well trusted 4x4 shop do the work cost damn near 2500 buxs...going with true trax locker (i mite be wrong dont have the paper in front of me ).Buttttt once you start cant turn back . look at my regular cab with 35s , friday ill have mickey clasic II rims on the truck , next will be fastman , headers... then she will be done till the following summer then motor work will be done 30 over , mild cam , B&G flash.. money , money money !!!! its sick..
I really like the 7" Skyjacker coils and RK Long arms I have. The ride is way better than with the SJ 5" kit I had. Then put on a 3" body lift and run 38-39 tires. I currently have 37's and they are too small for 10" of lift IMHO.
