Default High Flow cat question

I'm gonna be getting a set of headers in a few weeks thanks to pcfixerpro. I would like to trow a high flow cat on it while I'm at it.Then I wannatake it to a shop and have them weld from the cat back. The dual exhaust system i Put on has some loose spots and rattles it bugs the hell outta me. Anyway pcfixer said he has been told that this cat should fit on my cat and that people on here have put them on 01's. I just wanna make sure before I buy it.

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...150+4294867633+ (heres teh item # incase that link don't work MPE-23285 )

Also does anybody have a setup like mine will beor close to it so I can hear what it should sound like when done. I'll have PaceSetter shortys, Magnaflow high flow cat, and single in dual out flowmaster. I think I have a 40 series. If you could post a vid that would be great.

Thanks guys

I think you could save yourself some money by buying a universal fit. If you are fine with spending the extra money though, then you definately can't go wrong.

Also, it should be pretty damn loud. My truck has everything you are going to have besides the headers, and it is one of the loudest systems I have heard of. You will not be dissapointed brotha!

well I like the fact that with this one its all one piece. that way when I take it to the shop to all it all welded they don't have to cut the old one off and weld the new one on. I guess its the simplicity of being all together

I don't know that that's a "high flow" cat. It has a ceramic substrate, high perfomance cats are usually metallic.
Also:
"These converters are designed to exact OE specifications ..."

ok I found a "high flow" on ebay for a great price. Its a Magnaflow 94006. Looked it up on their site anda lot of them say pre OBD2 but some say 49 state. How do I knwo if it has the 02 sensor bungs and if it will throw a code? If it don't have the bungs is it possible to weld one in on the outlet side and have it not throw a code?

Looks like I'll be picking up the one I found on ebay. Called the place where its getting the welding work done and they told me about 200 installed if I bought one from them. I figure most of that is parts cost. I have had my stang there for exhaust work and it was cheap and I have heard of people getting full exhaust do there for under 100. I'm pretty excited can't wait to hear it. Anybody know how hard it is to install headers?

from what i hear its not too bad, just gotta make sure to get quality gaskets because they have a tendency to leak...
