I'm in South Florida, and I find that the sun shades (one in the side window too) along with leaving the windows cracked open a little bit help a LOT to keep the interior cooler.

Sorry, I don't have any advice on a dash cover. My dash is in excellent condition and I considered getting a cover just to protect it. So, I'm hereto look at thesuggestions too.

You might wanna grab another can, It took 3 cans to paint mine. Of course I had to change the color from a really dark brown to a light shade of brown. Be nice if they sold it in bigger cans..

Sorry, don't mean to call anybody out in the thread title, but I didn't see a PM option for you,Japoro.

Did you have the option of ording a Ram 1500 model dash or di you just get a 2500 or 3500 series? I don't see a 1500 option on the Geno's Garage website and I think that's the one I'm going with.
Forgot that I had turned off my PM options last year when we had the spammer annoying spammer on the forum. And sorry, haven't been reading much on the forum lately, so I didn't see this thread till now.

Glad to hear that you made a choice.

The one thing I do recommend when installing it is try to do it on a warm(ish) day. When I installed mine, it was cold out. Even being in my parents garage, it was still cold and the dash was not all that flexible and was just a little annoying trying to get it to slide behind the passenger air bag cover and such.
