Default IAC??

hey guys whats up? i need to confirm where the IAC plug is located on a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 5.2L 4x4. I know of the generic location of behind the throttle body but is it mounted on the throttle valve or on the actual intake. I hear it is two wires on the plug, but the only plug on the rear of the throttle valve is a 4-wire plug. ANY HELP APPRECIATE!!!

thanks

chris

its on the rear of the throttle body - the only thing back there. i don't know how many wires. 2 torx screws to remove it. note there is an o-ring around it. a new one might not have one. if you replace it, its best to remove TB and clean the IAC well and the place where the plates meet the inside of the TB. don't push or pull or twist on the IAC plunger or you'll break it. when it goes bad it will cause surging or dieing at idle. good luck.
